Internet slang, particularly within certain online subcultures, for a conventionally attractive, socially confident woman — often set up as the counterpart to the 'Chad', the equally idealised attractive man. Originating in incel and red-pill forums, Stacy is typically used to describe a woman considered out of reach for the average or 'beta' male. The term has leaked into wider internet usage, sometimes used self-deprecatingly or ironically by women themselves to mean a confident, conventionally beautiful person.

Half the comments on her selfie were dudes calling her a Stacy like it explained everything.

Origin: Popularised in incel and manosphere online communities in the 2010s, built on the given name Stacy/Stacey which peaked in popularity in the 1970s–80s and became culturally coded. Editorial expansion authored on Slangora (model-assisted, hedged).
