Alpen

Empréstimo do inglês. Alpen is a well-known UK brand of muesli produced by Weetabix, marketed since the 1970s and strongly associated with wholesome, Swiss-inspired breakfast food. In British slang and everyday speech the brand name is sometimes used generically to refer to muesli itself, the way 'Hoover' stands in for vacuum cleaner. The name evokes the Alps and a vague Swiss health-food aesthetic that drove muesli's mainstream adoption in the UK.
