(US, informal, euphemism) A mother whose child has died.

A fellow angel mom who lost her angel baby many years ago once told me that it was best to not talk about our stillborn children with others, others outside of our circle.

Origin: From the sentiment that a mother's child has gone to heaven and is now an angel. In 2000 the organization Angel Moms was founded, a group of mothers whose children had died, not limited to a specific cause.
