A wonderfully self-aware word that applies the '-ology' suffix — normally reserved for serious academic disciplines — to crap, nonsense, and rubbish. The effect is delightfully absurd: it treats the study of drivel as a legitimate field. Used when dismissing something as complete garbage with a little more verbal flair than just saying 'that's rubbish'. It's the kind of word that sounds almost intellectual while being entirely dismissive.
