(India) A shopkeeper or dealer.
(India) A street vendor who sells kulfi.
An Indian term for a street vendor who sells kulfi — a dense, slow-frozen dessert similar to ice cream but richer and more intensely flavored, traditionally set in small metal molds. The kulfiwala is a familiar figure on Indian streets and in neighborhoods, often calling out to passersby or ringing a bell to announce their presence. The '-wala' suffix in Hindi/Urdu denotes someone who sells or works with something, so kulfiwala simply means 'the kulfi person.'
(India) A milkman or milkwoman.
(South Africa) A person who lives in a shack.
