Slang for an especially geeky or nerdy person — someone whose enthusiasm for technical or niche subjects exceeds even normal geek levels. The '-azoid' suffix (see also 'sleazoid,' 'spazoid') adds extra emphasis and a slightly sci-fi or alien quality, as if the person is a creature of their own category. Used with affectionate mockery more often than genuine contempt.
He was such a geekazoid that he could name every episode of the original series by production code.
