I always remember when the THE allowed a howlers competition. It was won by the law prof whose student had written an entire essay referring to anus crimes.
These are Wood Rails. They start calling before daybreak and are often accompanied by Howler Monkeys. It makes for quite a chorus. Like the Howlers, you wouldn’t think a creature this small could be so loud. 🤓🌴🦋
