(slang) The person who shoots a film.
Lenser is film industry slang for the director of photography (DP) or cinematographer — the person responsible for shooting a film and making every frame look right. It comes from 'lens', the fundamental tool of the trade. You'll see it particularly in entertainment trade publications like Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, where industry shorthand is standard. A great lenser can transform a script into something visually stunning; a bad one can make even a brilliant story look flat.
(slang) The process of shooting a film.
