Tagged Drag & ballroom

The Drag and ballroom tag covers vocabulary originating in Black and Latine queer ballroom culture (1970s Harlem onward) and the wider drag scene that overlaps with it. This is a major source culture for terms that mainstreamed via RuPaul Drag Race and TikTok: gagged, snatched, tea, shade, realness, werk, sickening, clocking.
