fapper

Internet slang, primarily from early Reddit and 4chan culture, for someone who masturbates — often self-applied with ironic detachment. The word comes from the onomatopoeic "fap" which became internet shorthand for male masturbation in the early 2000s. In its hyperbolic sense a fapper is just an enthusiast or obsessive fan of something — a fapper for a band, a movie, a game. Context does most of the work.
