Fappening

Crude internet-born slang meaning to masturbate, primarily used by guys in online spaces. 'Fap' is an onomatopoeic word that emerged from anime and internet communities in the early 2000s before spreading into mainstream internet slang. 'Fap it' is the verb form — telling someone to go do it, or describing the act. It's casual and crass, carrying no particular shame in the communities where it's used, though it remains distinctly informal and NSFW.

Internet slang, primarily from early Reddit and 4chan culture, for someone who masturbates — often self-applied with ironic detachment. The word comes from the onomatopoeic "fap" which became internet shorthand for male masturbation in the early 2000s. In its hyperbolic sense a fapper is just an enthusiast or obsessive fan of something — a fapper for a band, a movie, a game. Context does most of the work.

Crass modern slang for an unsolicited or explicitly requested photograph of a man's genitals. The term is closely linked to the cultural phenomenon of 'dick pics' — images sent digitally, often without consent, which has become a significant topic of online harassment discourse. While the term is blunt and NSFW, it's widely understood in internet culture. Sending unsolicited cockshots is widely condemned as a form of sexual harassment.

(slang) A period or event that involves a lot of masturbation.
