LARPie is a derogatory slang term for someone who participates in Live Action Role Play — carrying an air of mockery toward people who dress up and act out fantasy scenarios in real-world settings. It's the condescending cousin of 'LARPer', with extra dismissiveness baked in. Ironically, the LARP community has grown large enough that the insult has lost most of its sting.
