'POV' stands for 'point of view'. On TikTok it is the most common video format intro: 'POV: you walk into school on Monday' sets up a short skit shot from the viewer's perspective. It has been used so widely it now often has only loose connection to actual first-person framing — it's basically 'imagine this scenario'. Harmless creative shorthand. Originally from film and literature.
