(US) An outdoor celebration in which corn is cooked on open fires.
(transitive) To cook by surrounding with hot embers, ashes, sand, etc.
An ear of yellow corn on the cob. On TikTok and Discord it's algospeak for porn — "corn" replaces the word to dodge platform content filters that suppress posts containing the actual term. Posts joking about "corn addiction", "recovering corn user" or "watching corn" are about pornography, not vegetables. The literal corn-the-food meaning is essentially dead in youth contexts. Useful to know if you're a parent or content moderator.
(transitive, or, intransitive, or, ergative) To cook food by heating in an oven or over a fire without covering, resulting in a crisp, possibly even slightly charred appearance.
