The collector-economy craziness peaked in late 2023 — Target rollouts drew 5am lineups, a Stanley-cup-related parking-lot fight went viral, and "having 12 Stanleys" became a personality flag. By 2024 the brand had essentially replaced "Starbucks tumbler" in cultural shorthand.
