Hug and kiss. The single-letter version of "hugs and kisses" used to sign off affectionate messages — texts, DMs, Instagram captions and emails between close friends. The "x" is the kiss, the "o" the hug. Common as an email sign-off in fashion, beauty and lifestyle industries.
