Inting

Short for 'intentional feed' in competitive games — running into the enemy to die on purpose. Used as both verb ('don't int') and noun ('that was a hard int'). Twitch chat uses 'int' loosely for any bad death, not just genuinely intentional ones, which annoys players who insist on the original strict meaning.

To die repeatedly and catastrophically, feeding kills to the enemy — sometimes from frustration, sometimes on purpose. "He's inting" = he's throwing.

An ironic title for someone who reaches a near-mythological level of intentional feeding or spectacularly bad gameplay — so frequent and so devastating that regular insults no longer suffice. The int god operates beyond accountability; pointing out that they're inting is as useful as scolding a force of nature. The title is delivered with a mixture of genuine awe and helpless despair by teammates who have witnessed too much. Occasionally used sincerely in niche troll communities where feeding beautifully is its own art form.

Deliberately ruining other players' experience in an online game — destroying their builds in Minecraft, blocking lanes in League, stealing kills, sabotaging objectives. Distinct from inting in that griefing is broader (any antisocial play) and inting is specifically about feeding kills. Bannable in most games. Twitch chat uses 'griefing' loosely for any teammate who acts in bad faith.

A declared or observable state in which a player has switched off all effort and is actively — or at least apparently — feeding, dying on purpose, or making the worst possible decisions every turn. Entering int mode is a psychological shift as much as a strategic one: something upset you, someone toxic spoke, the game went sideways, and now you have committed to chaos. Int mode can be announced explicitly ('I'm in int mode, don't follow me') or detected by teammates watching in growing horror as the death counter ticks upward.
