A kiddiot is the lowest rung of the hacker ladder: not skilled enough to be a threat to anyone who knows what they're doing, but just tech-savvy enough to be an annoyance. The portmanteau of 'kiddie' and 'idiot' makes clear exactly how the actual security community views them.
The 'breach' turned out to be a kiddiot running a three-year-old script they'd downloaded from a forum.
