It's the ritual of logging into YouTube Studio mid-crisis to see which topics are demonetized now, which keywords got flagged, and whether the CPM has cratered again. Creators do adpocalypse checks the way traders check stock tickers: anxiously, compulsively, and usually with bad news waiting. The check can also happen in comment sections when fans start speculating about why a favorite channel suddenly went brand-deal heavy.
