A diff god is someone with an almost supernatural ability to spot differences — the pixel-level observer who can look at two near-identical images and immediately clock what changed, who notices the lighting shift in a photo that everyone else accepts at face value, or who catches the tiny discrepancy in a story that unravels the whole thing. Diff gods are often found in deep-dive comment sections, forensic fandom threads, and mystery communities.
