The zombieing fail is karmic. It's the universe reminding you that you can't ghost people and then expect a warm welcome back. The bigger the original ghost, the more public and humiliating the zombieing fail tends to be.

The deeply satisfying moment when a gaslighting attempt completely collapses — usually because the target had receipts, a witness, or simply stopped believing the narrative. A gaslight fail is when the manipulator's constructed reality falls apart publicly or privately, leaving them exposed and the person they were manipulating vindicated. Social media has elevated gaslight fail into a mini-genre: screenshots, call-out threads, and the glorious 'I have the texts' reveal. It's the moment confusion turns into clarity and the rewrite stops working.

Ghosting mode is the intentional mental state someone enters when they've decided to go completely dark on a person — notifications ignored, read receipts left unacknowledged, social media presence set to invisible for that one specific target. Unlike ordinary ghosting, which can be passive drift, ghosting mode implies a conscious activation: you didn't just fade, you flipped a switch. It's the calculated, almost clinical version of disappearing, often accompanied by zero guilt and a clear objective to cut contact without confrontation.
