Definitions
A mega sweat is someone whose tryhard behaviour has surpassed all reasonable competitive benchmarks and entered the realm of the genuinely alarming. This isn't someone who tries hard in ranked — this is someone who brings full ranked intensity to every single interaction, including modes explicitly designed to be casual. A mega sweat in a party game is a social crime. In a competitive setting they're either carrying the team or making everyone miserable, sometimes both.
It's an unranked quick-play match and this mega sweat is using pro player keybinds and criticising our rotations.

- hyper sweat78%
Hyper sweat describes a level of competitive energy that's visibly beyond normal tryhard — frenetic, jittery, and loud about it. Where a regular sweater is disciplined and quiet about their obsession, a hyper sweat is visibly wired, over-communicating callouts, second-guessing everything, and spinning out in real time. The energy is high, the output is erratic, and the vibe in the lobby is tense. Hyper sweats often paradoxically perform worse than calmer sweaters because the intensity is bleeding all over the place.

An extremely or excessively competitive player.
- sweat maxxing76%
Sweat maxxing is the act of pushing competitive tryhard behaviour to its absolute maximum — optimising not just your gameplay but every surrounding variable: sleep schedule, diet, warmup routines, third-party analysis tools, sensitivity calculations. If regular sweating is committing to winning, sweat maxxing is turning the commitment itself into a part-time job. It's both admirable and alarming, depending on what the stakes actually are. Typically used with a mix of respect and concern by people watching someone do it.
