Mid receipts are evidence that technically exists but is underwhelming, ambiguous, or too weak to actually settle the argument. You came to the fight, you have a screenshot, but it's out of context, slightly inconclusive, or really only proves something adjacent to the actual point. Mid receipts are worse than no receipts in some ways — at least with no receipts you can plead ignorance. Showing up with mid receipts signals you tried and failed, and the internet will judge you for both the attempt and the inadequacy of the evidence.
That one reply from 2021 was supposed to be the smoking gun? Those are mid receipts at best, this case is not closed.
