In smurf mode, every decision comes easy, every aim check is casual, every game is one-sided. Players joke about 'entering smurf mode' when they feel unusually dominant in a lobby. It can also describe someone consciously dumbing down their gameplay to carry a lower-rank friend without making it obvious.
