The stretch of time — comeback era, anniversary, tour announcement — when your ult is everywhere and so is your entire personality. Ult szn means your For You Page becomes a shrine, your saves folder doubles in size, and your mutuals either ride with you or quietly mute you. A sacred, chaotic time.
It's officially ult szn and I have not slept since Tuesday.

Endearing to fellow stans, alarming to everyone else.

Short for "ultimate." A character's signature, long-cooldown ability in any MOBA or hero-shooter. "Ult up" = your ultimate is ready. "No ult" = terrifying. Team fights are often decided by whose ults are off cooldown — "save your ult" is shouted into every voice channel.
