The invisible rules that everyone in a group, relationship, or community follows without ever explicitly agreeing to them. Unspoken guardrails are the understood limits — don't bring up that topic, don't push that person on that thing, don't post that kind of content here. Nobody wrote them down. Nobody announced them. But break one and you'll know instantly from the reaction. They can protect group harmony or quietly enforce toxic norms, depending entirely on who set them and why.

The kind of unearned confidence someone carries quietly — you can see it in the posture, the tone, the way they position themselves in a room, but they haven't said anything overtly arrogant yet. Unspoken gassed is a pre-verbal state of being inflated: the smirk when they walk in, the slight chin raise, the comfortable silence while others talk because they believe they don't need to compete. It's the most dangerous form because it's harder to call out. Nobody technically said anything wrong. But everyone in the room clocked it instantly.

A de facto ban that nobody officially announced — when someone is quietly excluded from a community, ignored in chats, and removed from collabs without a formal ban hammer moment. The social equivalent of being erased.
