Andy pasta

A chatter whose schtick is being relentlessly positive and hyping up everything the streamer does, even bad plays. The mirror image of doom andy. '-andy' is a Twitch suffix that labels a stereotype of recurring chat behaviour. Sometimes used affectionately, sometimes as a way to dismiss someone as a yes-man.

A pejorative for a chatter who relentlessly posts negative predictions in chat — 'we're going to lose', 'this patch will kill the game', 'you'll never win this'. The '-andy' suffix (any name + -andy) labels someone as a stereotype of that behaviour. Coined on Twitch and forsen-adjacent communities; pairs naturally with 'hype andy' (the opposite stereotype).

A chatter who reliably loses their cool in chat — ranting, ALL-CAPS, dropping streamer mentions. '-andy' suffix labels them as a recurring stereotype. Sometimes the streamer themselves is the mald andy after a tilting loss. Affectionately mockable rather than seriously hostile.

A chatter who keeps asking 'first time?' every time a streamer dies or struggles, especially in a famously punishing game (Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Sekiro). The '-andy' suffix labels it as a stereotype. Streamers find it either funny or extremely tilting, with no in-between.
