- Doom Andy84%
A pejorative for a chatter who relentlessly posts negative predictions in chat — 'we're going to lose', 'this patch will kill the game', 'you'll never win this'. The '-andy' suffix (any name + -andy) labels someone as a stereotype of that behaviour. Coined on Twitch and forsen-adjacent communities; pairs naturally with 'hype andy' (the opposite stereotype).
- Mald andy78%
A chatter who reliably loses their cool in chat — ranting, ALL-CAPS, dropping streamer mentions. '-andy' suffix labels them as a recurring stereotype. Sometimes the streamer themselves is the mald andy after a tilting loss. Affectionately mockable rather than seriously hostile.
- Andy pasta77%
A copypasta in chat that establishes someone as an '-andy' archetype (doom andy, hype andy, sub andy, lurk andy). Andy-pastas are short, repeatable, mockable. The '-andy' suffix turning any noun into a chat-stereotype is one of Twitch chat's most productive grammatical devices.
- First-time andy73%
A chatter who keeps asking 'first time?' every time a streamer dies or struggles, especially in a famously punishing game (Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Sekiro). The '-andy' suffix labels it as a stereotype. Streamers find it either funny or extremely tilting, with no in-between.
- react Andy66%
(Internet slang, sometimes, _, derogatory) A streamer who publishes videos in which they react to other people's content.
