Definitions
The deliberate or unconscious process of maximizing one's devotion to a person — watching every interview, consuming all content, defending every action, becoming the most glazed version of yourself possible. Glazed maxxing is often retrospectively recognized. You realize you are doing it when you start correcting strangers on the internet about your fave's childhood.
I caught myself glazed maxxing at 2am fact-checking someone about his pre-debut era.

- glazing maxxing85%
Pushing glazing to its absolute peak — not just excessive praise but a full optimization strategy for defending your fave at every turn. Someone glazing maxxing has prepared rebuttals for every criticism, pre-emptively praises projects that haven't dropped yet, and treats every interaction as an opportunity to cement their person's legacy. It's less about genuine appreciation and more about performing devotion as a competitive act.
- mega glazed79%
A level of uncritical admiration so extreme it has become its own spectator sport. Mega glazed is not just stanning — it is hagiography. Every move is historic, every post is sacred, every flaw is either nonexistent or secretly a strength. The mega glazed fan has fully departed from the shared reality where their fave is a normal person.
- hyper glazed79%
A state of admiration so intense it becomes behavioral — you are not just posting praise, you are seeking out critical content just to argue with it. The hyper glazed fan is not passive. They are active, vigilant, and genuinely cannot understand why everyone else does not see what they see. Exhausting to witness. Deeply committed.
- glazing78%
Excessively praising or kissing up to someone. In Gen Z usage it's the social register; in tech it also describes overly sycophantic AI models. "Stop glazing him — he literally just passed a midterm." OpenAI famously rolled back a GPT-4o update in April 2025 for being too glazing.
- glazed mode76%
The mental state of being fully locked into uncritical worship — where logic exits, criticism becomes personal, and every piece of content from your fave is objectively incredible. Glazed mode is temporary (or permanent, depending on the person). In glazed mode, nuance is the enemy and praise is the only output. A powerful state. A dangerous one.
