An assessment that comes out average — not a burn, not a co-sign, just a shoulder shrug in rating form. A mid eval means someone looked at you, processed the data, and landed at 'yeah, fine.' It stings more than a harsh verdict because at least harsh means you registered. Mid eval is the judgment equivalent of being forgettable — technically not failing, but not passing with any style either.
After all that prep, the coach gave him a mid eval — like, not bad enough to cut, not good enough to start.
