Mid velocity describes content or a creator that is moving but not impressively — some growth, some engagement, enough to suggest the algorithm is not actively suppressing you, but nowhere near the explosive momentum needed to break through. Mid velocity is the purgatory of the creator economy: too alive to abandon, too sluggish to celebrate. It generates enough feedback to keep posting but not enough reward to feel like the effort is justified.
