peaker

Someone who is currently operating at or near their absolute best — physically, creatively, or socially — and knows it. A peaker is the person at the party who's on fire tonight: every joke lands, every fit goes hard, every move is clean. It can also describe someone who peaked in a specific era and is coasting on that legacy, though usually without the self-awareness. Context does the heavy lifting here. Used admiringly when someone's genuinely hitting different, and slightly mockingly when they've clearly already had their moment.
