Definitions
Someone who reliably generates craic wherever they go — the person whose arrival turns a flat gathering into a proper session. A craicer doesn't try; the fun just happens around them. They know the right stories, the right songs, and exactly when to buy a round. Not to be confused with a try-hard who performs fun — a genuine craicer is effortless, magnetic, and usually the last one standing at the end of the night.

- craic god75%
The undisputed apex of craic — a person so legendarily fun, so naturally hilarious, so perfectly calibrated to a good night out that they've transcended normal social metrics and entered mythology. A craic god doesn't just have fun; they bestow it. Every gathering they attend becomes a story that gets told for years. People plan events around them. If a craic god shows up unexpectedly, the night is saved. If they can't make it, the group text goes quiet for a minute.
- craic energy74%
The specific, contagious aura of someone who is guaranteed to make any gathering better just by showing up. Craic energy is warm, loud without being aggressive, spontaneous without being chaotic, and deeply social. It's the feeling you get from someone who already knows how to find the good story in any situation and isn't afraid to tell it. Craic energy spreads; one person who has it can shift the entire atmosphere of a room within twenty minutes of arrival.
- craic killer72%
(Irish, Northern England) Something or someone that spoils an otherwise enjoyable event.
- craic pilled71%
Someone who has been irreversibly converted to the craic lifestyle — they've tasted a genuinely legendary night and can no longer settle for boring evenings, sensible bedtimes, or anywhere that doesn't have at least the potential for a session. Once craic-pilled, a person becomes a recruiter; they want the whole friend group to reach the same enlightenment. They're the one texting at 10pm asking if anyone is out and refusing to accept that the answer is no.
- craic queen71%
The woman in any social group who is consistently the engine of the good times — she's got the funniest stories, the best impressions, and an unmatched ability to rescue a dying night just by showing up. A craic queen isn't trying to be the centre of attention; she just naturally is. She's been turning hen dos into legends and group holidays into chaos since before anyone had a word for it. Irish and diaspora social circles treat this title as high honour.
