Definitions
Rag core is the aesthetic built around chronic, performative irritability — the vibe of someone who has curated their whole online presence around being perpetually done with everything. Think moodboards of clenched jaws, blunt captions, and zero tolerance for small talk. It's part subculture, part personality type, and entirely built on the appeal of someone who radiates 'don't try me' energy without crossing into actual hostility. The difference from just being angry is the self-awareness — rag core knows it's a look.
Her whole TikTok page is peak rag core — dark colour palette, two-word captions, zero patience.

- aggy core77%
An aesthetic and attitudinal category built around visible aggression as a style — the fashion, music, content, and energy of someone who leads with confrontational vibes. Aggy core isn't just being annoyed; it's a curated presentation of that aggression. Think angular fits, music that sounds like an argument, content that always has an edge. It's aggression as identity, packaged for an audience that finds that energy magnetic rather than off-putting.
- rag energy73%
Rag energy is the intangible aura of barely restrained irritation that someone projects — the vibe you pick up before a single word is spoken. You clock it in the jaw set, the short answers, the way they close a cabinet just slightly harder than necessary. It's not a full blowup, just a constant low-frequency signal that this person is operating very close to their limit. Calling out someone's rag energy is a way of saying 'I see you simmering' without making it a confrontation.
- rag coded73%
Rag coded describes a person, character, or situation that radiates barely suppressed irritability as their defining trait — like fury is just baked into who they are. It's not that they're currently raging; it's that you can tell rage is their natural resting mode. Think the friend who's always one inconvenience away from snapping, or a fictional character written with permanent scowl energy. Used as light-touch character analysis that acknowledges the seething without making it a full accusation.
- ratchet core73%
Ratchet core is the aesthetic of fully committed, proudly chaotic, unapologetically loud living — treated not as a lapse in judgement but as a deliberate lifestyle stance. It's the look, the sound, and the energy of someone who has decided that restraint is optional and drama is welcome. Acrylic nails, fluorescent outfits, confrontational group chats, and zero-filter social media posts are all ratchet core. Unlike the term 'ratchet' used dismissively, ratchet core reclaims the aesthetic as a cohesive identity, one that prioritises authenticity and spectacle over respectability.
- angy core72%
An aesthetic and attitude built around the visual and emotional language of perpetual cute frustration. Angy core pulls together the iconography of scrunched faces, tiny fists, chaotic vent energy, and the specific color palette of someone who is fine but also kind of seething. It's an internet micro-aesthetic that romanticizes the low-boil irritation of daily life — messy rooms, cold coffee, passive-aggressive sticky notes, and the satisfaction of a very precise rant. Often overlaps with goblincore and chaotic-neutral presentation styles.
