Definitions
The aura someone gives off when they're operating with full sigma characteristics: calm authority, indifference to social hierarchy, quiet confidence, and zero need for external validation. Sigma energy is less about what you do and more about how you carry yourself — unhurried, purposeful, and somehow more threatening for not trying to be. The term floats between genuine compliment and ironic hyperbole depending on who's using it.

- sigma mode70%
The state of operating with full sigma energy — completely locked in, ignoring distractions, moving without needing anyone's approval or attention. Sigma mode means your phone is on DND, your goals are clear, and you have zero interest in social performance. It's either a genuine productivity headspace or a cope for antisocial behavior, depending on who you ask. Used earnestly in self-improvement circles and relentlessly mocked in ironic meme spaces — often simultaneously.
- sigma68%
Lone-wolf male archetype — independent, successful, uninterested in social hierarchy. The original masculinity-internet meaning that Gen Alpha later flattened into a generic compliment.
- sybau energy68%
The palpable aura of someone who is absolutely done, broadcasting a clear signal that they will not be entertaining foolishness, drama, or unnecessary conversation. Sybau energy doesn't require volume — it's often quieter and more dangerous than that. It's the stillness of someone who has already decided they're not engaging, the flat tone that shuts down a whole thread, the look that ends the meeting early. You don't always catch it in time, and that's the point.
- engage energy67%
The particular aura someone gives off when they are unmistakably present, participatory, and ready to connect — whether online or in person. Engage energy reads as warmth, attentiveness, and genuine interest rather than performative niceness. Online, it's the person who actually replies thoughtfully instead of just liking. In real life, it's the friend who makes full eye contact and asks follow-up questions. Described as a green flag in social contexts and a power skill in professional ones. The opposite of zombie-scroll energy.
- carry energy67%
Carry energy is the aura someone gives off that signals they're going to handle things — full responsibility, maximum effort, no waiting for anyone else to step up. You feel carry energy the moment that person walks into a situation: the slightly intensified focus, the readiness to just deal with it, the quiet confidence that if things go sideways they personally will course-correct. Carry energy isn't loud or showy; it's the opposite of big talk. It's what you're projecting when you've decided to win regardless of what your teammates, coworkers, or circumstances bring to the table.
