A simping queen remembers every detail the other person has ever mentioned, shows up every time, and somehow maintains dignity even while clearly running laps around someone who's barely trying. The term reclaims a bit of power, acknowledging that yes, this is simping, and yes, she is doing it excellently.

A moment of honest self-assessment or group debrief where someone evaluates the actual status of a romantic non-relationship — are the feelings real, are they mutual, and is this going anywhere? A situationship check forces you to confront the ambiguity you've been comfortable ignoring: the lack of labels, the mixed signals, and the unspoken rules that somehow everyone follows without ever discussing. It extends situationship by adding the evaluative rigor of a check-in.
