Bandwidth-coded describes a person, environment, or situation that constantly demands more than its fair share of your attention and mental energy. That one friend who always needs something, the job that follows you home, the group chat that never sleeps — all bandwidth-coded. It's not necessarily malicious, but it IS exhausting. Being bandwidth-coded means you're a cognitive drain whether you mean to be or not, and people start managing their exposure to you accordingly.
That project is so bandwidth-coded — I spent my whole weekend just thinking about it.
