Parasocial mode is what someone slips into when they start engaging with a creator's content so heavily that the boundary between fan and friend starts blurring in their own head. Replying to every post like they'll be seen, getting emotionally affected by the creator's mood, feeling genuine excitement when acknowledged — even by an automated response. Parasocial mode isn't always a crisis; sometimes it's just a phase.
