- MFW71%
My face when. A reaction-image setup line: the writer describes a situation and pairs it with a photo or GIF of a face that captures their reaction to it. Originated on imageboards and is now standard on Reddit, Twitter and Discord.
- MRW65%
My reaction when. Almost interchangeable with MFW, but more often used when the attached reaction image is a GIF showing motion (a flinch, eye-roll, double-take) rather than a still face. A staple format on r/reactiongifs and meme subs.
- feelstheaura63%
Twitch-style chat reaction crediting someone with overwhelming presence or vibe.
- FeelsBadMan60%
The original sad-Pepe emote, a Matt Furie panel of Pepe with a downturned mouth saying 'feels bad man'. Predates Twitch — it came from 4chan in the late 2000s — but became canonical on Twitch as the all-purpose 'that sucks' reaction. Largely replaced by Sadge for newer Twitch users but still posted by old-school chatters.
- FeelsGoodMan58%
The positive twin of FeelsBadMan, the original smug-Pepe face from a 2008 Matt Furie comic. Posted when something on stream goes well: a win, a wholesome moment, a streamer hitting a goal. Like FeelsBadMan, it predates Twitch but defined the standard Pepe-reaction grammar that later emotes (Sadge, Pepega, monkaS) all build on.
