An extreme, almost impossible-to-avoid collision zone — a character or situation where the hitbox is so aggressive and expansive that normal evasion simply doesn't work. Hyper hitbox energy in real life describes someone who cannot stop catching drama regardless of what they do: they dodge one conflict and walk directly into another, they leave a situation and it follows them on socials. The hitbox isn't just big, it's hyperactive, seeking out contact from distances that should not be physically possible.
Someone or something with an absurdly large collision zone — in games, a character who gets tagged by attacks that shouldn't reasonably reach them; in life, a person who attracts every possible inconvenience, drama, or consequence from across the room. Mega hitbox people don't go looking for trouble, trouble has their coordinates saved. Whether in a lobby or a group chat, they are inexplicably catching strays at maximum range and cannot catch a break no matter how far they stand from the epicenter.

A hitbox god is a character, move, or weapon in a game whose collision detection is so generous, wide, or misleadingly invisible that it seems to defy all logic and spatial reasoning. When a hitbox god move lands from what looks like miles away, or hits you when you could swear you were already out of range, the whole lobby erupts. The term is usually applied with a mixture of frustration and dark appreciation — the hitbox shouldn't work that way, and yet here you are, losing to pixels that weren't visually anywhere near you.
